Gran partido el que se vio en el Allegiant Stadium de Las Vegas, NV el pasado 18 de Enero. El Inter de Miami de Messi y el Tricampeón de México, el America jugaron un internacional amistoso que no decepciono. Mucha afición azulcrema se dio cita en Allegiant Stadium; y si bien el estadio no se lleno, el ambiente estuvo al nivel del partido. Al minuto 31′, Henrry Martin marco el 0-1 para el Ame. El Capitan del Ame se a convertido en el mas consentido de la afición azulcrema. El festejo duro poco para el tricampeón pues apenas 3 minutos después, al 34′ Messi marco para el Inter Miami para empatarlo 1-1. Después de marcar el empate, Messi celebro hacia la afición del America con un gesto muy polémico. El 10 de Argentina, señaló a la afición del America y les recordó que Argentina tiene 3 copas del mundo y Mexico tiene 0. Reyes marco el 1-2 mientras Avilés lo empato al 90+4, 2-2′ para mandar el partido a los penaltis. Si bien la tanda de penaltis no fue la mejor para ambos equipos, lo destacable fue el portero del Inter de Miami, Rocco Rios Novo. El joven arquero argentino debutaba con el Inter y fue el héroe parando 2 penaltis. Santiago Morales, joven de 17 años anoto el penal decisivo con el que el Inter de Miami gano 3-2.
